Cinco de Mayo! …come on, where’s the party?

So the party this past weekend ended up going well, even with the cops trying to damper the mood, that only fired people up more. Good times. What a way of me to throw a link to this blog in the facebook event for that party, so cheap I know. We’ll see how many visitors a day this thing just plummets now because that’s all said and done.

These guys, Black Mountain, really remind me of something like a smarter Wolfmother. This is a pretty happening song, I’ve been getting into it as of late. Couldn’t find you a studio mp3, so you’ll have to deal with a live mp3 from Late Night with Conan.

I always overlooked Nada Surf. We all know Popular, but they just never really clicked with me. I heard an acoustic version of See These Bones off of their newer album this year one night and it just automatically clicked in with me. Now I need to check out the album.
