Ok, I’ve seriously listened to Shinichi Osawa’s remix of Pogo from Digitalism six times in the row, on purpose, while writing this post. I’m not even drunk, this is ridiculous. ….best dance track of 2008 so far? I think there’s a chance…..OoooooOOoooh that point it builds up to and EXPLODES at 4:14…I need to stop whoring out Mr. Osawa. For now at least, because his non-remix single, Electro 411, that’s going around isn’t all that great..
Why must energy drinks get weirder and weirder and weirder and weirder? There was Cocaine, the energy drink. Now there is Mamajuana, the energy drink for sex and sexual activity and sex stuff. There is only one energy drink that will ever matter.

I’ve heard of a few songs here and there from Mr. Oizo and they never really tickled my fancy too much. But then at one random dance party a month or two ago, somebody played this remix and the crowd got ROWDY. I reaaaaally wanted to steal that remix for my party, but it was that following weekend, so it would have been way too blatant….so I’m going to steal it at the next party

Rage Against the Machine – Killing In The Name Of (Mr. Oizo Remix)
I heard this song coming home from work for the first time and while the rest of the song isn’t too exciting, there is a few breaks or whatever you want to call it that has a really bad ass, memorable tune to it that makes it a keeper.
Plump DJs – System Addict
I don’t know how long this song has been in rotation, but it’s going to be making a lot of Best of 2008 lists when it comes to the end of the year. They kind of remind me of Prodigy.
